The Affordable Care Act is a Monstrous Disaster

Single Payer Healthcare

None of the usual suspects are willing to accept the fact that the Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare is a complete “FAIL.” Many people are losing their insurance; premiums are going through the roof as well as deductibles. There is nothing but excuses coming from those that put this law into place. And the biggest losers are the American people. The Affordable Care Act should be abolished. It is bad for the country. It does not work. So what is the real reason this nightmare is being forced on America? It is almost like this new healthcare law was designed …continue reading

Black Homeownership Hits 18 Year Low

Obama’s election in 2008 has proven to be the biggest economic undoing of the black community throughout the nation. Employment and homeownership, both signs of prosperity, are at an all time low with no recovery in sight. Obama’s decision to focus on doling out entitlements and restructuring our economy from a capitalist system to a socialist system is at the root of America’s woes. What needs to be done to put America back to work is being ignored and summarily dismissed by this administration. The end result has put this country’s economy on a downward spiral and it is the …continue reading

Egypt on Fire as Bloodbath Continues

Egyptian Bloodbath

Violence continues in Egypt between the interim government and pro-Morsi supporters. As many as 149 have been killed by Egyptian security forces attempting to hold the line since ousting dictator Mohamed Morsi. Morsi is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, and was set to institute Sharia Law in Egypt. After the Arab Spring, Morsi became Egypt’s first “democratically” elected president. Shortly thereafter, in typical dictatorial fashion, Morsi granted himself unlimited powers. And Egypt has been wrapped in turmoil ever since. Instead of the peaceful “democratically” inspired government for the people, by the people touted by progressives in the West, what Egypt …continue reading

Oprah Winfrey Says “Sorry” Over Switzerland Racism Flap

Oprah Winfrey

The Oprah is caught lying and then issues an apology. If you are a celebrity, and you go to the media with an issue such as this, why wouldn’t you expect a “media frenzy.” And if you are a celebrity, isn’t the name of the game — publicity, good or bad. Celebrities need notoriety, they thrive on it. Media attention is the life’s blood of the celebrity. But did Oprah need to go this far? Did she really need to do this? This flap only made her look foolish. And her apology after the fact only makes her look clueless. …continue reading

ObamaCare Rollout Hits Another Big Bump

Just another “big bump” on the road to Obamacare. Flag the year 2014 and watch a tremendous rise in your healthcare costs thanks to Obamacare. Not only will you be paying for your own healthcare, and for the healthcare for your families, you will also be paying for the healthcare of the president and his family; members of Congress and their families; Congressional staff members and their families; and members of our judiciary and their families. It doesn’t matter that every single one of them make a tad bit more money than most of us, and a lot more money …continue reading

Extinction of the Black Family – By Its Own Design

Black Family

by Yvonne Cousar Will the black family go down in the “annals of time” as the only race of people that successfully committed genocide on itself? Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, Caste, religious, or national group. “For genocide to happen there must be certain preconditions. Foremost among them is a national culture that does not place a high value on human life.” — Mr. Hassan Kakar I would argue that the newly formed lives of black children in their mothers’ wombs are in serious jeopardy; that the lives of …continue reading

Diary of an Angry Black Man: Death to the Black Race

Angry Black Man

by Yvonne Cousar There is a deep chasm between the black man and the black woman in America, and it’s growing. I recently had the dubious honor of being invited into a group of individuals that was comprised mainly of angry black men who espoused such a hatred of black women, the depth of which I find unfathomable. I always knew there was a riff between the sexes, but I found myself taken aback by the total disconnect, specifically with this particular group of people who could just possibly represent a microcosm of the black community as a whole.  I …continue reading

The Dumbing Down of America: Our Failed System of Education

Dumbing Down America

by Yvonne Cousar Reading, writing and arithmetic use to be the staple of our American educational system. Students were only allowed to advance after they had mastered the requirements of their particular course disciplines. However, many graduating students today (including both high school and college graduates) cannot read or write, and do not have the basic skills necessary to secure their advancement into the real world with real life situations. A disproportionate number of the new homeless are college graduates who have a degree, but had not learned any coping skills during their four years walking the halls of our …continue reading
