Extinction of the Black Family – By Its Own Design

Black Family

by Yvonne Cousar Will the black family go down in the “annals of time” as the only race of people that successfully committed genocide on itself? Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, Caste, religious, or national group. “For genocide to happen there must be certain preconditions. Foremost among them is a national culture that does not place a high value on human life.” — Mr. Hassan Kakar I would argue that the newly formed lives of black children in their mothers’ wombs are in serious jeopardy; that the lives of …continue reading

Diary of an Angry Black Man: Death to the Black Race

Angry Black Man

by Yvonne Cousar There is a deep chasm between the black man and the black woman in America, and it’s growing. I recently had the dubious honor of being invited into a group of individuals that was comprised mainly of angry black men who espoused such a hatred of black women, the depth of which I find unfathomable. I always knew there was a riff between the sexes, but I found myself taken aback by the total disconnect, specifically with this particular group of people who could just possibly represent a microcosm of the black community as a whole.  I …continue reading

The Dumbing Down of America: Our Failed System of Education

Dumbing Down America

by Yvonne Cousar Reading, writing and arithmetic use to be the staple of our American educational system. Students were only allowed to advance after they had mastered the requirements of their particular course disciplines. However, many graduating students today (including both high school and college graduates) cannot read or write, and do not have the basic skills necessary to secure their advancement into the real world with real life situations. A disproportionate number of the new homeless are college graduates who have a degree, but had not learned any coping skills during their four years walking the halls of our …continue reading

George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin: An American Tragedy in Two Acts

Zimmerman Trial

by Yvonne Cousar We have an administration assisted by a complicit media that is hell bent on creating a division amongst this country’s citizens.  This administration has been vested in creating this division since 2008. Why? Because the division keeps us chasing shadows; keeps us from talking to each other in a civil manner and takes our focus off such things as: the economy; government snooping and spying on its citizens; murders by drone attacks; amnesty for illegal aliens; the IRS, NSA, AP, Benghazi, Fast & Furious and Extortion 17-Seals scandals, to name a few. First this administration tried to …continue reading

Will The GOP Become Extinct After the 2014 Election?

GOP Downfall

by Yvonne Cousar Where is the Grand Old Party headed? Many say, in the wrong direction. The elite party members have abandoned their conservative base. The base that gave them a landslide victory in 2010 is the same base they ignored and mistreated in 2012. For all intent and purpose, the GOP appears to be embracing the liberal/progressive agenda on almost every important issue to conservative Americans, such as amnesty. And on others, such as the Benghazi, Fast & Furious, IRS, NSA, AP and Extortion 17 (Seals) scandals, they appear to have an attitude of complete indifference. Our elected officials …continue reading

Political Correctness: Should it be Legislated?

Political Correctness

by Yvonne Cousar “The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.” – Samuel Johnson “Civility,” what does it mean, how do you recognize it and where did it go?  In the old days when men wore hats and ladies wore gloves and high heels, and men would tip their hats and say “ma’am.”  People would say “thank you” when you gave them something and you said “you’re welcome.” People would say “excuse me” or “pardon me” if they interrupted you in conversation. Were those the “good old days,” or just …continue reading
